Blake Lotto Presents our first Lottery, Featuring an assortment of Capitals and Faction ships.
*Prizes*
1st- Ark (Jump Frieghtor)
2nd- Revelation (Dreadnaught) w/3ccc I rigs +250m
3rd- Archon (Carrier) w/3ccc I rigs +250m
4th- Archon (Carrier) w/3ccc I rigs +225m
5th- Bhaalgorn (Faction Battleship)
6th- Ashimmu (Faction Cruiser)
7th- Gila (Faction Cruiser)
8th- Phantasm (Faction Cruiser)
9th- Cruor (Faction Frigate)
10th-Dramiel (Faction Frigate)
*bonus* If the first place winner has bumped this thread at any time before the lottery is sold out, then that person will also win a 25m isk cash bonus.

There will be a total of 1000 tickets @ 10m(10,000,000) isk each, giveing you a 1 in 100 chance of winning with a single ticket.
The winners will be determined using 'Chribba's Dice' and can be confirmed *insertlinkhere*
The lottery will end when the last ticket is sold (I reserve the right to close it early if sales drop off and I feel enough have been sold to justify it)
In the event that the lottery drags on too long and does not look likely to sell out in a resonable time period(determined by me), I will refund all purchased ticket cost and Darknesss will return the prizes to me.

Purchasing Tickets:
To purchase a ticket you send the amount of tickets you want x 10 Mil isk to Arkole Blake with the reason ab01(zero one). Tickets are tracked automatically and you can check them *insertlinkhere*. (the system may take up to 2 hours to update after the isk has been sent)
ISK sent without the ab001 reason code will be considered a donation, ISK sent with the ab001 code but in an amount which is not a multiple of 10mil will get you the number of tickets divisible by 10mil and the extra is kept as a gift.
Therefore:
If you want one ticket, send 10,000,000 ISK to Arkole Blake with the reason ab01
If you want two tickets, send 20,000,000 ISK to Arkole Blake with the reason ab01
and so forth
Additionally
If you were to send 19,999,999 (for example) you would get 1 ticket and I keep the extra 9,999,999
If you were to send 9,999,999(or less) you would get nothing but my gratitude for the free isk.

I had already set up an account at eve-lotteries before deciding on who to use as 3rd party, so we just went with that instead of his site.
Also for those wondering, I expect that Darknesss will make an apperence in this thread for the confirmation some time today. (we are on conflicting timezones so we agreed last night (ustz) as he was about to log off that I would post the thread after he logged and he would post a confirmation when he got back ingame today)

EDIT: Can you win more than one prize?
The draw is set to not pull the same number twice, so once a ticket has won it cannot win agian, but there is no limit on the number of tickets a person can buy(up to the max avalible at the time of purchase of course) so yes it is possible for the same person to win more than once.
(due to the existance of alts,etc there wouldn't really be a reliable way to set a limit per person anyway)
As far as hoping more people buy tickets, I would have to agree with you :) (tho is it only the first day so I think its going pretty well so far)

Good morning Eve-O update. (or good whatever-is-appropriate-for-your-TZ)
The Lotto is on day 7 so some (maybe not so)interesting stats:
At the time of this post 381 tickets are sold 619 remain.
Day one holds the sales record with 122 tickets sold.
The current largest ticket holder has 25 tickets.(sorry no bonus for this, so its just a stat atm)
The first 3 bonus draw winners have now accepted thier contracts with two of them choosing an Ishkur assault frig(each) and the other opting for 2 Taranis Interceptors.(so Gallente FTW so far I guess)
Congrats agian to Nero Prime, Capt Insanio, and Trayjan.
Bonus draw #2 had to be rerolled once as its holder did not post thier bonus bump.
Only 19 tickets remain until we can unlock Bonus Draw #4 so if you hold a ticket # between 301 and 400 and havent already done so, get those bumps in and dont let your number win a bonus without you!

Just a quick note:
The ticket tracker site is down atm. I have been unable to reach the admins personally up to this point due to bieng at work, however I just want to assure everyone that you can still contiue to play and any tickets purchased during this period will be counted toward the lottery. (even if I have to track/add them manually,tho this is unlikely to be nessisary)
Eve lotteries is bieng used by several other lottos and it appears that some of them have been in contact with the site admins so I have little doubt that they will correct the issue in a reasonable time frame. If I cannot contact them myself tonight(us CST) and it is still down tommorrow I will contract a secondary tracker site.
I have records and SS of the current ticket holders and thier designated numbers so rest assured that your tickets are safe and the lotto will continue regardless.

I will verify my wallet agianst the shown ticket sales when I get home in a few hours to ensure that nothing was missed.(tho I doubt there will be any issues.)

Ticket tracker issues should now be resolved.
If you still cannot view your ticket numbers, first try refreshing the page to make sure your browser is not displaying a cached version.
If that does not fix the issue for you, please wait a couple of hours and try agian as it may take some time for your ISP to catch up. (It will eventually, just depends on your individual ISP)

Earlier today I promised to give an update on the state of this lottery.
First let me apologize to everyone for taking on a lottery of this size as my first step into this arena. As Grendel stated in his very informational Lottery 101 thread, I would advise anyone thinking of running a lottery to start small. Tho this event is not the largest that I could afford to back, it has become quite clear(to me) that somone such as myself should not start at this level as I simply do not have the 'brand name' or loyalty base to sell it out quickly. In fact, were it not for the support of many of my corpmates who have bought to date around 1/2 of the current tickets sold, this lotto would surely end in complete failure.
No one, player or host likes for a lottery to drag out for an extended period. It is simply not good buisness to hold a persons ISK in limbo.
To that end, I am setting a deadline for this to complete. I stated earlier today that it would end on Sat the 34th, however after doing quite a bit of research and looking at the sales figures for this event , I beleive that date would most likely end in cutting the prizes down to an unacceptable level or canceling and returning everyones isk.
This I believe would be a poor solution for all involved, Therefore I have decided that sales for this event will end, for better or worse @ 23:59 on 31 july. With the draw bieng held a maximum of a few hours later I have decided that if this event does not sell out by then , I will accept responciblity for not starting small as I should have and pay some 'stupid tax'
The math says that my current 'break even' point in this lottery(after prizes 3rd party/ticket tracker fees, etc) would be approxamately 950 tickets sold.
Given that figure, if there are 900 tickets or more sold by 23:59 on 31 july, then all prizes, main and bonus, will be given out just as if the lottery were completly filled (with the exception of 'bump' bonus # 10 which would not have been filled)
If the lottery does not reach 900 or more sold by that date, I will make a determination based on the final sales and possibly be forced to reduce some of the prize value (most likely this would be by reducing or removing the isk associated with prizes 2-4) The top 5 ship prizes and the Orca 'high roller' bonus will be given out regardless of the final sales tally. These cuts, if they happen, will be in favor of the ticket holders, with me taking a loss unless the lottery sales reach the 950 ticket
break even' point.
I have not given up however, and starting tomorrow I will be running 'mini lottos' similar to the ones that were popular in the live event held this weekend in the main thread, as well as another promotional event next weekend.
Thank you agian for your support of this lottery, and I will be doing everything in my power to get us to that magic 900 tickets sold.
